Welcome to Our Wildhorse Home!

This brand new, spacious luxury town home is located directly adjacent to the Gold Link lift on Mount Crested Butte, the “Wildflower Capitol of Colorado.” Short walk to the ski lift, mountain biking and hiking out your door, horseback riding is only a 10 minute walk. Rafting, kayaking, fishing and great views from your deck. This location has it all!

Sleeping: We furnished our home with multiple families in mind. The master  bedroom contains a king bed, a desk if you need to work, and has a master closet large enough to sleep a child if you want to keep them close. If you want them far away, we’ve equipped the “bunk room” with two bunk beds with trundles – enough sleeping for six (or seven if you move our extra mattress to that room). The remaining two rooms contain queen beds, and one room contains a digital piano if you want to make music while there. This room also has its own private patio. In addition, there is a futon in the living area – all in all, you can sleep up to 15.  We have used European-style duvet-covered quilts which are washed every time to ensure clean bedding throughout the condo.

Living: The living area contains a dining table able to seat 10-12 comfortably; an additional 4 seats are available at the bar, making it easy to feed a large group.  We’ve stocked the area with games, a TV (with cable), and blu-ray player. High-speed wireless (and wired) internet is available (passcode required).  From your living area, you have unparalleled views up the East River (Gothic Mountain), and down toward the town of Crested Butte (Mt. Emmons). The deck is furnished with chairs, and there are additional folding chairs and a folding table if you want to eat or have drinks on the deck.

Playing: In this location you never have to move your car to have fun! There is a groomed ski trail across Prospect Rd. that takes you directly to the lifts – about a 3 minute walk. The mountain shuttle comes to the intersection of Prospect Rd. and Gothic Rd. Prospect Rd. takes you up the mountain to all of the mountain biking trails. Gothic Rd. takes you up the East River valley to world-class mountain biking like the renown “401” trail. Five minutes down the hill are stables where you can book horse rides ranging from an hour to two days. At the mountain center, (Mountaineer Square, a 5 min bike ride) there are tons of activities both summer and winter. In Crested Butte (free shuttle from Mountaineer Square or 10 minutes by car), you can book rafting, kayaking, fishing, or guided climbing trips in the immediate area. There is a world-class golf course 15 minutes away. If you have a jeep or 4 wheel drive vehicle, you can ride trails that take you throughout the Elk range, including to Aspen in the summer.

Touristing: The mountain shuttle comes to the intersection of Prospect and Gothic Roads; about a 5 minute walk. Within an hour’s car ride, you can visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park,  climb several “14-ers”, go boating or swimming on the Blue Mesa Lake, travel up to Cottonwood pass for amazing views, or simply drive through the amazing vistas of Southern Colorado.
