Kim Franklin joined the Department of Computer Science as its new academic program administrator this month. Franklin is responsible for the oversight and management of the department’s PhD students, coordinating and managing activities related to academic affairs, including recruitment, admissions, advising, scheduling, financial services, student services, and event planning.

Franklin previously worked at the School of Advanced International Studies in the Hopkins-Nanjing Center’s graduate program office. She received her BA from Dickinson College in 1996 and her MA in international education from the School for International Training Graduate Institute in 2008. When not in the office or spending time with family, Franklin can be found training for her next triathlon, endurance swim, or cycling event.
