EMNLP-CoNLL 2007: Preparing Camera-Ready Copy

You should now prepare your final version of the paper. The Program Committee has worked diligently to thoroughly review your paper. You are expected to repay their efforts by following their recommendations as you revise your paper. Please also check recent conferences (e.g., NAACL 2007) for new related work.

Refer to http://ufal.mff.cuni.cz/acl2007/styles/ for detailed submission and formatting instructions. EMNLP follows the ACL styles with the exception of the length requirement and submission deadline (see below). In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the following guidelines:

  1. Your final version must be a PDF file.

  2. The body of your camera-ready version may use up to 9 pages if this is needed to address reviewer comments, clarify or illustrate your exposition, or include new results. To encourage thorough citation of related work, the References section does not count against this 9-page limit. (Other things equal, please avoid unnecessary length out of kindness to readers and trees.)

  3. We strongly recommend using the ACL 2007 style files at http://ufal.mff.cuni.cz/acl2007/styles/. If you cannot use these style files directly, please read the sample document at that URL for a description of the required format.

  4. Papers must follow the two-column format with the specified margins per the instructions.

  5. Adhere to the font sizes prescribed in the style files.

  6. Do not include page numbers on your paper.

  7. Do not use all-capitalized letters in the last names of the authors on the first page. Only the first letter of each last name should be capitalized.

To submit your final paper, please visit http://www.softconf.com/acl07/EMNLP-CoNLL07/. At the top of the page, enter the passcode associated with your paper. Fill in the online submission form, and upload your PDF file. You may revise your final submission up until the deadline given below.

To appear in our conference proceedings, your final version must be received before 14 May 2007, 23:59 EST (GMT-4).
