Soudeh Ghorbani is an assistant professor of computer science, on leave since 2023, and a scientist at Meta. Her research focuses on large-scale foundational networked systems and has been supported by awards and grants from the NSF, Google, Meta, Intel, and VMware, among others.

She received a BS in computer engineering in 2009 at Sharif University of Technology in Iran, an MSc in computer science at the University of Toronto in 2011, and a PhD in computer science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2016.
